Three Things Thursday — Clean, Sweet, and a Little Bit of Paradise
Three things can change your Thursday. One thing can change your world.
Hello,
Here are three things that brought me joy, added value to my life, made me laugh, made me cry, solved a problem, or just made life a little more interesting. Basically–cool stuff worth passing along.
Show – Paradise [Hulu Episode link]
Every once in a while, a show surprises you - not because it’s loud or hyped, but because it’s layered. Paradise on Hulu is one of the most under-the-radar shows I’ve seen in years. It’s thoughtful, emotional, and beautifully made. And stays with you in a way that’s hard to explain.
I measure shows by how often I rewatch them, and I’ve already watched Paradise twice. There’s something about its mood, its honesty, and the way it explores what we believe to be real that keeps me coming back.
The music in the show is also great. Especially if you like ‘80s and ‘90s ballads! If you’re looking for something that’ll make you think, feel, and maybe even hit play again when it’s over, Paradise is it.
Product – Kirkland Signature Ultra Plush Microfiber Towel
I’ve always thought a rag was a rag—until I found this one. Costco’s Kirkland Signature Ultra Plush Microfiber Towel isn’t just another cleaning cloth; it’s a quiet little miracle. It picks up everything. I’ve used it to lift a coffee stain out of carpet, wipe down kitchen counters, and even clean my car windows to a perfect streak-free shine.
But here’s where it truly earns its name: it’s the best thing I’ve ever used to clean my glasses (thanks for the suggestion Phyllis). No smudges. No haze. Just crystal clarity. I know it sounds ridiculous to get this excited about a rag, but it’s that good.
These rags are so effective that when I told my wife I was going to share them here, she said, “Don’t—you’ll cause a shortage.” Fair warning.
Treat – Askinosie Box O’ (Mini) Chocolates
I’ve got a serious sweet tooth - especially after meals. If my daughter’s baking, I’ll take down three or four of her chocolate chip cookies without blinking. But when there’s nothing fresh out of the oven, I reach for Askinosie chocolate.
They’re one of the few chocolate makers that still does everything the right way—ethically sourced, small-batch, and ridiculously good. My go-to is their Box O’ (Mini) Chocolates - a mix of dark pieces ranging from 70% to 77% cacao. Each one is just one or two bites, the perfect amount to satisfy a craving without going overboard.
It’s not cheap, but it’s quality you can taste. A box lasts me about two to three months—mainly because I hide it from the rest of the house.
Here’s to another week of small joys and simple discoveries.
Always ❤️📚💡
Three Book Thursday is free, but there are many costs to create these posts each week. So, can you do me a favor?

Or, do both!
